A house is built relatively fast, usually within 1-3 months.
You will receive a special surprise. We think you'll like it.
You will get the exact GPS coordinates of the HOWM you built.
Donating a HOWM is an investment in an entire community. Labor, bricks, and roofing supplies are all purchased from the local village. We hire the best builders, and pay them well, to ensure that each house is structurally sound. We also work with the chiefs of these communities to bring in volunteer help from village men, which is our way of teaching the village to care for the widows and orphans.
The person you build a house for will most likely be an orphan or female widow. In some cases, we also provide housing to elderly men, or an elderly couple. Your contribution is tax deductible, as we are an official 501(c)3. It doesn’t matter if you donate $12 or $1200 because we will always send you a picture of the person you helped.
